Andrew R. Gottesman
Andrew Gottesman is the founding partner of Gottesman Law, PLLC and has over 20 years of real world experience in the public and private sectors. His practice focuses on representing corporate and individual clients in bankruptcy, consumer protection, creditors’ rights, corporate restructuring and distressed asset transactions.
While working at Willkie Farr & Gallagher and Schulte Roth & Zabel, Andrew represented debtors, secured lenders, unsecured creditors, asset purchasers, asset sellers and equity holders. He also gained significant experience in consumer cases while working in the public sector and serving as in-house bankruptcy counsel for Chase. Andrew also has the unique advantage among attorneys of being intimately familiar with the business side of claims and distressed debt trading, having run a trading desk for a small broker dealer.
